Problems and Problem Solving in the Application of Audiovisual Learning
In today's modern era,
there are many advances in various fields, especially in the field of
education. The learning process that takes place today is very different from
the past when viewed in terms of facilities, ways of learning in the classroom,
and the use of learning media. In the past, the facilities in each school were
very limited, and the use of learning media only relied on books as a learning
resource. Meanwhile, every school currently has adequate facilities, and the
learning media used are not only books but many technology-based learning
media.
In the learning process,
teachers not only use books as a medium for learning but, with the development
of technology, can take advantage of the learning and teaching processes in the
classroom. With existing technology, learning media can be used in the forms of
audio, visual, and audio-visual. Audio-visual learning applied in the learning
process is a very interesting learning medium so that students are not
saturated in learning, are able to increase their activity in learning, and
more easily understand the material being taught.
Judging from the use of
learning media in the form of audio-visual, many schools apply it, but not all
schools can implement it, especially for schools in remote areas whose schools
do not have complete facilities and limited networks. This is a problem in
implementing the learning process using audio-visual learning media.
